For several years, I lurked around the blog world, like a total creepster. I read a ton of blogs, occasionally commented on them, and generally sat on my couch thinking that the people who wrote blogs had a super fabulous life. I'd always thought about starting a blog, but for some reason never got around to it. Then one day I was bored and I figured, hey, why not, and Cooking with Milton was born. I've long loved to share my cooking with my friends and family, and blogging is another platform to do so. I try to eat somewhat healthily, but I have a soft spot for all things carbohydrates. Additionally, I love to bake (although don't have much of a sweet tooth), so you will definitely see a mix of things around here. Happy reading!
Elizabeth is a thirty side of twenties lady in Boston. In addition this blog, she also enjoys attempting to leave Target empty-handed, walking around the Arboretum, The West Wing, and ignoring the never ending pile of dishes in the sink.
Tacky Christmas Sweater Party
In the winter, this is basically all I do. It's great exercise.

We have the most fun friends
Milton is a 9-10 year old cockapoo who was given a new lease on life after being rescued in 2008. When he's not fluffing around the kitchen looking for a sample, he enjoys begging to go off roading in the park, chasing birds, indiscriminately barking at the yard, and naps.
I like to dress up for Christmas as well!
This is my pensive look.
This is my natural habitat - we call it my throne.
