And here we are once again, on a Superb Sunday. The weather was amazing earlier, but now it looks like rain. Silly spring. Anyways, without further ado, so awesomeness. I guess I had a great week of shopping, because a lot of this is from my house instead of the interwebs.
Superb Style Steal:
I got both of these on a deep sale at Banana Republic the other day. The green one is from the Mad Men collection, which I love. The tan one isn't, but it's definitely that style. Hopefully this will aid me in being the best dressed at my office. Also, there is a great Milty photobomb in the background.
Superb Lunch Bunch:
Yes, I am a child. I saw this container and realized that it had a built in spoon on the top and OMG I HAD TO GET IT. I seriously cannot wait to take something that needs a spoon to work so I can use it.
I had these in grey and there is now a hole in the bottom, I wore them so much. I think I'm going to get another pair of the grey ones, just because they are so comfy and cute. The red is awesome though; when I wear them I match my car.
I got to take home a few of the alter flowers after church today. What a lovely surprise.
Superb Sweet Treat:
Karamel Sutra Cupcakes, based off the epic ice cream of Ben and Jerry. I'm just going to stop trying to talk about these because there really aren't words.
My love of Mean Girls is well documented and knows no bounds. Obviously this yearbook quote just wins it all for me. Much better than whatever lame-o, quasi-inspirational nonsense that I had.
Superb Kitchen Tip:
I am getting a CSA this year for the first time, and although I'm splitting it with my neighbors, I'm a little worried about the sheer volume that I may end up with. This article has a lot of good tips and links on what to do with the bounty. Even if you don't have a farm share, there is still a ton of good information.
Superb Genius Idea:
This is quite possibly the whitest of the white girl problems, but it's so annoying when you go to the beach and your can/bottle gets all sandy and tips over. Ugh. This is a great solution. The only thing I hate is that I didn't think of it myself.
I know that it's warm and definitely not time for lasagna, but this looks SO GOOD. Spicy lasagna? Yes please! The blog post is also a really sweet tribute to the writer's father.
