Superb Sunday

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!  In honor of this fabulous holiday, I had a few people over last night.  Lots of Irish fun was had, and there were potatoes.  If anyone has any idea what to do with leftover baked potatoes and would like their idea featured on Cooking with Milton, let me know.  I have approximately a million.

I love this outfit, it's casual but put together enough to wear out if you want.  The bag is my favorite part.

This looks just delightful.  For those of you who have never had a fried green tomato, you're missing out.  And pimento cheese makes everything better.

Superb Encouragement

I think this says it all.  You go Calamity Jane.

I love this woman's blog, she's really funny and her food looks amazing.  Also, based on what I know about her (which is only what's on the blog), we have similar taste in music.  These tacos look awesome.  Smokey roasted chicken with spicy goat cheese queso....I just can't believe that I didn't think of this.

If you didn't watch The West Wing, I'm going to highly recommend it.  It's smart, funny, and overall excellent.  Danny Concannon, a reporter, has a crush on CJ Cregg, the press secretary.  He hears she likes goldfish and decides to get her one.  She meant the cracker, but the mistake just makes it all the sweeter; you gotta love how hard he's trying.

We made this for my sister's wedding shower, and it was AMAZING.  It's not very difficult, but you do need to start the day before so it has time to sit.

Obviously I think that Milton is the cutest dog around.  But pugs are a close second.  I'm not sure why because they're ugly; maybe they're uglycute?  Anyways, this cracks me up every time.

I actually made these yesterday for my partay.  There are about a billion steps.  I'm planning on posting about them.  They're so good, but it's definitely a project.  However, at the end of the project you get car bomb cupcakes.  So there's that.
